Dr. Justin DuBose has been helping people discover their sacred calling and lead with impact for over two decades. Since 2005, he has served in local church ministry while also serving his country as a U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain since 2010—including an assignment within the Special Operations community. He continues to actively serve in both ministry and the military today.
A military graduate of the University of North Georgia, Justin holds a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University. His military education includes the U.S. Army Institute for Religious Leadership (Fort Jackson, SC), Joint Special Operations University (MacDill AFB, FL), and the Command and General Staff College (Fort Leavenworth, KS).
Through Communicate to Care, Justin has equipped more than 300 leaders across 26 organizations. His work includes personalized assessments, 1:1 coaching, group coaching, keynote speaking, and leading leadership retreats—all designed to help leaders grow in clarity, confidence, and influence. He also serves as an Executive Coach with Leadership Consultancy, a boutique firm serving Quick Service Restaurant owners and operators.
Justin’s influence extends beyond coaching through his writing and teaching. He is the author of ministry4x4, a leadership development curriculum for church leaders, and a contributing author of Operator Pathway, a leadership curriculum for restaurant owners. His most recent book, Journaling Your Joy: Discovering Deep Delight in Jesus, reflects his passion for spiritual growth. He has also written devotionals for the Christian & Missionary Alliance, served as an adjunct faculty member at multiple Christian universities, and previously led as a Christian school administrator.
He is the former host of The Leading Lounge podcast (2022–2025) and has been a featured guest on leadership podcasts. In 2025, he was honored by his alma mater as one of its “20 Under 40” distinguished young alumni.
Beyond his professional calling, Justin treasures life with his wife, Alanna, whom he married in 2005. Together, they are raising five wonderful children in the Greater Houston area.
